Learn to Love

Learn to love - love may be a seed sown a heart to love given to me, but I still have to learn to love from Him.  One of the hardest things for me  is learning to love in the every day and unseen. 

Learn to Love (1 Cor. 13) One of the hardest things for me is learning to love in the ordinary, every day.   It seems easier to love in a burst of passion and the dramatic.   The Lord is sowing (or planting)  into me a heart to love.   I was reading in Is. 58 and Mark chapters 4 and 5 on 19 Nov. 2004 and I wrote in my journal that I felt like God was speaking to me about my fears, and reminding me, “You will be there when it's hard, that You will satisfy my needs, and that through it light will rise, and ancient ruins will be rebuilt.."  and I quoted " ‘is that not what it meant to know Me?’ declares the Lord."  Jer. 22:16.  After that in my journal are the words to this song.  , and then the words “love never fails, love never fails.”    1 Cor. 13. 

*trivia - right after that in my journal, same day,  is a song I wrote based on Isaiah 58.  I have not recorded it yet, but hope to soon.

but without love, I find I've lost all, and gained

nothing.

the everyday unseen sacrifices that go so far

out of love…

And in my heart I want to pour myself  out for You 

But in my life, I find it so hard to do

Let my stumbling bring me to where You are

Where I can learn from You

Find my joy in You

And learn to love.
